Drink Up the Sun

                         A few more moments and morning's gone

                                   sunshine, laughter and a song

                         Ra's patch of gold, luminescent orb

                                   patterned on corner of parquet floor

                         Squared for feline's languishing form

                                   soft, placid peace enveloping morn

                         Let's drink up the sun,

                                   ching, ching, hooray

                                            till drops dribble on,

                                                         to another day.
