Molten Lover of the Night

The cool caress of the breeze,

                                                  The birds’ winged flight

                                                               wavering

                                           Over the wave clapping seas,

                                                  The egg yolked sun

                                                             cracked

                                                Across saffron skies,

Then melts as a molten lover

Into the arms of the night.
