Thought
Thought is the bridge
Between Heaven and hell.
Thought is power,
A ceaseless magic spell.
Thought is a tool
To work out in human life,
Its gift is smile,
Its triumph, wisdom's knife.
Action is the fruit
Of thought sublime and poor
To open and close
Our God's Compassion-Door.
