Necessary And Unnecessary Evils

Desire,
A necessary evil.
Money-power,
A necessary evil.
Compromise-net,
A necessary evil.

BUT

Doubt,
An unnecessary evil.
Jealousy,
An unnecessary evil.
Insecurity,
An unnecessary evil.
