Meditation

Sometimes I must be a silent,

For that is the only way

To know better,

To think a little wiser,

To become a little more perfect,

To claim God a little sooner.

I pray to God and meditate on God.

I pray to God to see His Face of Height.

I meditate on God to feel His Heart of Delight.

Your mind has a flood of questions.

There is but one teacher

Who can answer them.

Who is that teacher?

Your silence-loving heart.
