Despair is not weak;  
It is strong.  
It fights against our hope.
It fights against our determination.
It fights even against our heart's conviction-light.

Despair is drowning me,
My life boat  
And my joy divine.  
I must destroy the despair-night
To shine in Eternity's sunshine.

~

Do not learn to love despair.
If you do that,  
Never will you be able to repair
The painful damage  
To your poor life.
