Beliefs Bright Joy

I have traveled far and wide

to view the sources of joy’s life

standing always by

a great Light.

The world that I have eyed

colors like a new-wed wife

as belief springs spry

to sights bright.

My belief’s deep sigh

no longer sounds doubt’s strife

nor unleashes a cry

in dark nights.

The soul can’t long hide

impassioned desires of the like

divine beauty’s bride

sings of God’s holy sight.
