In the softness of sea blowing breezes,
in the shadowy white of sea foam,
came the elusive spirit of the sea horse,
galloping, galloping home.
On her back no one has ridden,
free as waves battling sand,
horse of the sea so gallantly fleeting,
past Scylla to the eye of the storm.
Ocean jewel no eyes have laid eyes on,
to seas far beyond seas down below,
horse of the sea scaling sea blowing breezes,
here is where the sea horse runs free.
